Workday Release 2021R2 Coming on Sat. 9/11
Workday has two major releases of enhancements and new functionality annually. The second release of 2021, named 2021R2 by Workday, is scheduled for Saturday, September 11, from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. Workday will be unavailable during the maintenance period.
Many of the changes coming in the release are behind the scenes and will not be immediately noticeable. A Workday 2021R2 job aid is available in the Administrative Resource Center that explains the system changes that will be noticeable in more detail (admin.resources.osu.edu/workday/2021R2).
Kronos and external dormakaba time clocks will be available during the maintenance, but employees using Workday to clock in and out should enter their hours once Workday is available again.

Downtime reminders for Health System Supply Chain users:
Supply Ordering
Order Friday, September 10 before 10 p.m. or after 6 a.m. on Saturday, September 11.
Package Deliveries
Packages will be received and delivered after 6 a.m on Saturday. Contact distribution at 614-293-7759 for packages which require immediate delivery during downtime.
Storeroom Ordering
Continue to order via the Distribution Storeroom Catalog, as downtime will not affect this process.
