What If You Only Had to Remember One Password for All Your Accounts?
Off the top of your head…can you remember how many online accounts you’re signed up for? What about how many accounts you’ve signed up for just in the last year? Even when simply ordering some take-out from the restaurant down the street, it can seem like the restaurant will require you to have an online account!
If you came up with a number for either of those questions, how many of those accounts share the same password? Many of us have heard that using the same password across different accounts is dangerous because if a cybercriminal gets access to one account, they may be able to access all (or many) of your accounts. But sometimes the inconvenience of coming up with a brand new, never-before-used password can lead even the security-conscious among us to occasionally re-use a password.
