University Stores Warehouse, through the Buckeye Buy portal, supplies the university-issued two-part deposit bags that units across campus utilize for their cash and check deposits through either university deposit centers or directly through the armored carrier. In the past, these bags have been provided at no cost.
Effective immediately, there will be a nominal charge for the deposit bags. Going forward, the bags will be available to order through Buckeye Buy, at $9.00 for a pack of 50 bags (.18 cents per bag) .
Please note, bags are currently on order with our vendor but are experiencing long lead times with delivery. We ask during this time that you are mindful of the stock and only order bags if you are completely out. In the interim we ask you work with other units in your college or office to share bags until the supply can be replenished. We thank you for your understanding.
If you have questions about this change, please contact Amy McMahon in Treasury or David McDonald at OSU Stores.
As part of Microsoft’s complete phase out of the Internet Explorer (IE) browser, they will also stop providing IE updates and patches within the next several weeks.
As a result, Buckeye Buy’s marketplace provider, GHX, will cease its support of the IE browser as of November 15, 2021. Any use of IE after this time to access GHX functionality may result in errors and performance issues with Buckeye Buy catalogs.
Going forward, you must use Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Apple Safari when accessing Workday to initiate a purchase, to ensure Buckeye Buy functionality remains fully operational.
For assistance with installing a new browser, please contact your local IT desktop support or the Ohio State Service Desk by calling 614-688-4357 (HELP), emailing servicedesk@osu.edu , or visiting Self Service .

The steps for requesting goods and services from Ohio State Internal Suppliers are the same as those from external suppliers. First, search in Buckeye Buy to see if the internal supplier has a catalog. If there is no catalog available, change your requisition type from "Buckeye Buy" to "Non-Catalog Request" before submitting it to make sure your request is routed to the appropriate service center or buyer for review. Access the Business and Finance website to find a current list of internal suppliers with catalogs in Buckeye Buy, and instructions on how to search for these catalogs. Review the Administrative Resource Center's "Find Internal Suppliers by Catalog and Inventory Status" job aid for a list of Ohio State internal suppliers, including their supplier IDs and email addresses .
