CarmenCanvas Rubrics Improvements

Instructors now have the option to use a set of improvements for creating and using rubrics to assess assignments in CarmenCanvas.

These improvements make it easier to create, edit, and reorganize rubrics when they are created by clicking on Rubrics in the course navigation. The interface for creating rubrics within an assignment will remain the same.

When using rubrics to grade assignments in Speedgrader, instructors can switch between traditional, horizontal, and vertical layouts.  Other functionality related to rubrics is unchanged.

These improvements are available as a feature option that you can turn on in individual courses. You can learn how in the Canvas Community or look for the option in your course called "Enhanced Rubrics." Instructure, the vendor for CarmenCanvas, is continuing to work on Rubrics updates.
