Enhance Your Workflow: Discover the Latest Microsoft 365 Features
Enhancements to Teams, Outlook, OneDrive and Microsoft Lists will enable you to do more and to improve your workflow when using these tools. Enhancements include a better remote experience when sharing content remotely during Teams meetings, easier access to media in the Microsoft OneDrive for Mobile, the ability to create a form in Microsoft Lists, and more. Microsoft Teams Updates
Use Tags in Shared Channels
Tags will now be supported in shared channels in Microsoft Teams. Tags allow you to quickly reach a group of people all at once. You can categorize people based on a Team or Channel. Tags enables you to communicate with specific groups without having to type each person’s name individually.
WHEN: Microsoft has begun rolling out this enhancement and will complete it by the end of April 2024.
HOW: In a channel conversation, simply type @ followed by the tag name. Select the tag from the list, and everyone associated with that tag will receive a notification.
Content Camera is Support Becoming Available on the New Teams
Microsoft Teams as a new feature called content camera support that is available on the new Teams app experience for Windows and MacOS. Content camera enables remote attendees to get a clear view of physical objects like whiteboards, printed documents, books, and more that are in a meeting room. Content camera intelligently detects, crops and frames the in-room object and shares its content with remote meeting participants.
HOW: When you want to share content (like a whiteboard), click the “Share” button in the meeting controls. Look for an option called “Content Camera” or “Camera with Content”. Click on it to enable this feature. Present as usual.
WHEN: Microsoft will complete these enhancements by the end of April 2024.
Teams Application Name Change on macOS
Starting in April 2024, the new version of Microsoft Teams on macOS will change its name from Microsoft Teams (work or school) to Microsoft Teams.
WHEN: Microsoft will complete the name change by May 2024.

RETIREMENT: Teams Voicemail Activation Feature
The voicemail feature that automatically activates an out-of-office greeting based on an out-of-office event in Outlook calendar will be retired. Very few users took advantage of this feature. There are currently three options for voicemail Out of Office (OOF) greetings activation; “When I have an Out of Office calendar event” is the only option being retired. Users can still use the “All the time” and “When I have an Outlook auto reply enabled” versions of OOF.
WHEN: Microsoft will retire this feature by August 2024
HOW: To set up Out of Office, open Outlook and click on the File tab. Click on the Info tab and then select Automatic Replies (Out of Office). In the Automatic Replies box, select Send automatic replies.

Integration of To Do App into Outlook for Mac
Microsoft is integrating the To Do app into Microsoft Outlook for Mac. The Microsoft To Do app is a task management app that helps users organize and prioritize their tasks. With the To Do app, users can create tasks, set due dates and reminders, and categorize tasks into different lists. This means that you can quickly view and manage your tasks without having to switch between different apps, improving productivity and organization
WHEN: Microsoft will complete these enhancements by the end of April 2024.
HOW: Users do not need to take any action to access this feature. Once integrated, the To Do app will appear in the left navigation menu of Outlook for Mac.

Microsoft is integrating the To Do app into Microsoft Outlook for Mobile. The Microsoft To Do app is a task management app that helps users organize and prioritize their tasks. HOW: Users do not need to take any action to access this feature. Once integrated, users can access the To Do app in Microsoft Outlook for Mobile by opening the Outlook app and looking for the To Do icon in the navigation menu.
Create a Form from Microsoft Lists
In Microsoft Lists, list owners and collaborators with permission to edit the list will be able to collect information from their lists to create Lists forms. Lists forms can be created quickly and shared with others using a link. The recipient can focus on filling out the form without seeing your full list. All submitted responses appear immediately as new list items that collaborators can see and refine.
Lists forms work well in scenarios such as recruitment tracking, managing orders, tracking customer issues, filing expenses, etc. For example, an event organizer can create and manage multiple forms for the same list to track attendees, feedback, logistics, and more, with each form collecting a part of the full list.

View Media in OneDrive on the Web
OneDrive for web will have a Media node that will enable you to perform various actions on the media content, such as share, download, or delete media files.
WHEN: Microsoft will complete these enhancements by the end of May 2024.
HOW: The added to the left navigation under the “browse file by” heading, allowing people to view photo and video content stored in their OneDrive in a single view.
Outlook Mobile New Contact Editor
Microsoft is launching a new Outlook Mobile Contact editor that will enable you to create contacts in Outlook Mobile instead of the device's own contact editor (a third-party, unmanaged app form), greatly improving your contact creation and editing experience. It will allow you to create, edit, and manage their contacts in Outlook Mobile. This feature will not directly impact the Outlook Mobile Contact Sync/Save feature (syncing contacts from Outlook Mobile to the device's native editor). This will allow you to be less dependent on using Contact Syncing to the native contact editor.
WHEN: Microsoft will complete these enhancements by the end of June 2024.
HOW: In Outlook Mobile, tap the Search icon at the bottom of the screen and then, tap Create. If you have a business card for the contact you can use the “Scan a business card contact” to create a new contact card. If the contact does not have a business card, you can manually search for the contact you want to add. Once you find the contact, tap on it, and then tap add to contacts.
