MacOS Sonoma Now Available
The following applies to all Managed IT Services partners.
The MacOS Sonoma update is now available in Ohio State Application Self Service/JAMF for all OTDI-managed Mac devices. You can install this update at your convenience now through Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Starting January 17, you will be required to install the update if you have not already done so and will be notified via a pop-up window.
This installation requires a reboot that could take up to one hour. Installing the update before January 17 using Self Service allows you to plan around that reboot so that your work is not interrupted. View KB06124 for instructions on how to install the MacOS Sonoma update via JAMF Self Service.
In addition to updating your device so you can access new features, we recommend keeping your MacOS updated for security purposes.
If you need an exception to not perform this upgrade, please submit an exception after reviewing Knowledge Base article KB06156. Submit your exception in Service Now. You must be logged in to view the article and submit an exception.
