Ad Hoc Bank Transaction Operational Journal Issues

All issues reported below, related to Ad Hoc Bank Transactions have been resolved by Workday. Workday provided a fix that Ohio State has applied to correct all Ad Hoc Bank Transactions affected by this issue. All Ad Hoc Bank Transactions have now successfully loaded to Workday and journals are all posted in period 11 (no prior periods affected). Thank you for your patience.

In Workday’s weekly updates received the evening of Friday, May 5, changes were made that caused issues for our Ad Hoc Bank Transactions. Ad Hoc Bank Transactions being loaded into Workday to record deposit activity are creating operational journals in error status due to debit credit imbalance. To prevent further accounting errors, the job that loads these transactions into Workday was put on hold. We anticipate a fix from Workday this evening (5/15) and then we can start processing these transactions again. Currently the Ad Hoc Bank Transactions affected by this issue are not posted due to the errors. These journals are all in period 11 (no prior periods affected). The accounting for the Ad Hoc Bank Transactions will be corrected by a Workday fix that should be in place prior to period 11 closing. We will send an update once that is completed.
