Planned Maintenance and Downtime for Student Apps Sept. 23
From 10 a.m. on Friday, September 23, until 11 a.m. on Sunday, September 25, the following PeopleSoft Buckeye Link services (Campus Solutions/Student Information System) will be unavailable due to planned maintenance, including:
- Student Center functions accessed through Buckeye Link
- Faculty Center
- Grad Recommendation
- Curriculum
The Ohio State App (mobile) will not be affected by the downtime.
Please note that this maintenance window is longer than usual and will result in changes to system navigation. When the system is available after the update, users will be able to use the new PeopleSoft Fluid Navigation with enhancements that include:
- Fluid tiles that serve as shortcuts to one or more specific pages, components, or queries.
- Global search that uses logic to bring back results without having to know the full page or component name.
- A new Actions button that provides access to things like opening a new browser window within PeopleSoft, or signing out entirely, or other options allowed by your level of security.
The changes are detailed in a PeopleSoft Fluid Navigation Overview job aid available in the Administrative Resource Center (ARC).
This change and other planned maintenance at Ohio State can be found on the System Status page.
