Show Your Buckeye Love on National Random Acts of Kindness Day
Each February, the Ohio State community comes together to celebrate Buckeye Love. This year, the emphasis for our celebration is kindness. What better day to celebrate than National Random Acts of Kindness Day on Thursday, Feb. 17.
Buckeyes across the university are being called to share kindness with one another, both in-person and virtually. We are asking all students, faculty, staff and university partners to embrace the opportunity to create connections that bring joy and inspire others to do the same.
Sharing kindness in a virtual work environment can be challenging, so we’ve gathered a few resources to help you get started.
Branded Graphics
The university has provided several digital resources for the Buckeye community to help spread the word about this year’s kindness celebration. From Zoom backgrounds to photo overlays, use these graphics to get the word out about National Random Acts of Kindness Day.
Give Kudos
Share a token of appreciation with your coworkers through Kindness at Ohio State. The Give Kudos portal allows you to select a gratitude-themed graphic and send a special message directly to a fellow Buckeye.
You can also use Microsoft Teams to send your coworkers praise. Open a chat with the person you would like to recognize and navigate to the Praise badge under the “Type new message” text box. Select the badge you’d like to share, write a personalized message (optional), and send!
