Digital Flagship’s technology kit distributions had a new challenge this year: distance. Throughout three weeks of distributions, 8,676 incoming students stopped by a pickup window at St. John Arena at a pre-scheduled time to receive their iPad kit. Masks, hand sanitizer and physical distancing measures protected the health of staff and students during the low-contact pickup. Devices shipped directly to the homes of more than 3,370 students around the country.
From the start, Digital Flagship has been committed to the core ideas of providing access to innovative teaching and learning resources while preparing students for the modern, mobile, technology-driven workforce. After a comprehensive comparison of the 10.5” iPad Air released in March 2019 and the 11” iPad Pro released in October 2018, we have found that the iPad Air will provide the best value for students and educators.
