The next round of software updates is now available to install for OTDI-managed workstations via Software Center (for Windows PC) or Ohio State Application Self Service (for Mac).
The IT Service Desk will remotely deploy these updates on Monday, November 28 which will require you to restart your machine and/or close applications. You can make these updates at your convenience prior to then via your appropriate software update application to avoid interruptions that could occur from an automatic update.
All new MITS devices will now be equipped with Windows 11 as the operating system. Windows 10 is approaching end of life and will remain on all current devices as the OTDI standard, but all new deployments will be operating on Windows 11. We will announce later when current devices can upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
